The teaching principle we adopt is simple: actively promote all our students to think first, and worry about the technology second. Students complete a suite of core subjects which provide foundational and contextual knowledge and skills. One-third of the degree is made up of specialist graphic design subjects. A minor or elective sequence adds breadth, enabling you to select subjects from another discipline area. Minor studies can be chosen from areas such as: acting advertising art history animation and visual effects design for theatre and television image making and illustration sound or television production. You will receive hands-on experience through extensive workplace learning in second and third years. In your third year, you will be required to work collaboratively with small clients and/or non-profit organisations, researching, designing and developing a variety of promotional strategies and awareness campaigns for your client. The program finishes with a professional capstone subject which prepares students to embark on a career in their chosen area. Our graduates have a well-developed aesthetic sense, strong visual problem-solving skills and the communication and technical skills needed to produce innovative and exciting work for a range of applications. Il fumetto è un'arte sia letteraria e grafica. Composto da una successione di immagini con testo, aiuta a raccontare una storia reale o immaginaria. Per fare un cartone animato, l'artista deve stabilire la sinossi, specificare l'azione di taglio, scrivere i dialoghi, creare i personaggi e l'ambiente in cui operano. Egli deve anche scegliere i punti di vista, inquadratura e il layout delle miniature, eseguire una prima bozza del disegno, condotta inchiostrazione, lo sviluppo del colore e, infine, trascrivere i dialoghi e commenti. Una volta pubblicato, il fumetto può essere presentato in vari formati (es. Fascia, bordo, libro, album). OBIETTIVI Questo programma permette e incoraggia l'apertura al mondo visivo dall'interazione tra la padronanza del linguaggio formale e la sua applicazione nelle diverse modalità di espressione nelle arti visive, grafica o fumetti.
